New year, new mood. With the holidays and 2020 behind us, I’m focusing on the present and surrounding myself with fresh things that serve as a reminder of moving forward.
Sweaters are still on repeat so I have them ready to go (and smelling heavenly) with The Laundress cashmere shampoo. I’ve rearranged them in my closet with colors in easy reach in order to give black a rest. Currently, I’m into offbeat pales and pastels toned down with warm neutrals, like this sage green and camel combo above. They look so pretty with rose gold too. I’m also liking this color story around the house and with some reupholstering on the books, may dip into the palette.
The stress of last year plus indulging a bit too much over the holidays has taken a toll on my skin. As part of my annual January cleaning spree, I’m reevaluating the products I use and want to establish an effective simple routine. Suggestions welcome! One product that’ll stay with me though is The Route’s peel. I have sensitive skin with a tendency towards Rosacea, so having an exfoliator that doesn’t irritate is important. This one fits the bill.

All of the Eraclea skincare products are great as well as Uma Oils.

Thanks. I’m not familiar with that line!

Sensitive skin and rosacea here too-such a pain! I’ve recently tried the Furtura line of products and my skin has never looked better. Just reordered…

Furtuna- misspelled!

Fantastic. Thank you. I’ll take a look!

For sweaters in unusual muted colors, you may like Alexandra Golovanoff. Her cashmeres are lovely and they will ship to the U.S.

Thank you for the recommendation. They’re fantastic!

Same issues with skin, I’ve recently been using Sunday Riley Luna and Vitamin C Serum and have had some success.
