It’s March and I should be focused on a spring palette, but instead I’ve swooped up a few amazing pieces in black. They’re styles I consider building blocks for my wardrobe to elevate the everyday basics and with some on sale, the timing was right. The classic Balmain blazer I swooped up on sale at Mytheresa is a piece I’ll wear forever. The Celine boot from the SS21 collection (not on sale, but afraid they’d sell out) will replace the black lug sole boots that have grown tired from endlessly wearing. I’ll save the older pair for travel. I’m always on the look out for a good skirt. They’re hard to find in the length and styles I like. This pleated vegan leather style from Peter Do had been on my wishlist and when it was finally marked down, I grabbed my size. It’s on its way to me now. The mock neck top is far from special, but like a classic white shirt or tee, is good to have around. My earlier post names a mock neck sweater as a closet essential, so I’m stocking up now.
