Loose jeans paired with an interesting jacket, fresh sandals, bold jewelry and striking accessories sum up what I feel like wearing these days. They’re individually great pieces that will add style to a number of looks for the long run. I fell in love with the Gucci sandals the minute I saw them. These have a 3″ block heel and also come in gold, plus there’s a lower heel that’s fantastic too. I posted on two new forever bags in Future Classics, which included the Saint Laurent Maillon bag. In an unexpected color, it pops an outfit. I’d wear it through fall with warm russet browns and cognac hues.
I’ve been doing a lot of spring cleaning around the house. We just finished repainting the interiors so my radar is on decor and furnishings. I’m taking my time unpacking and arranging new vignettes. I have so many collectibles from travel and years of early morning flea market runs. I’m reminded of how much I enjoy and appreciate one-of-a-kind vintage items. My taste is old fashioned but consistent for decades. I’m not one to redecorate on a whim but prefer to add or take away layers. My current inspiration is with British interior design and the creative skill of mixing patterns and colors with gorgeous antiques. Geoffrey Bennison, Guy Goodfellow, Penny Morrison, Robert Kime fabrics are all currently pinned to my moodboard.
Lastly, with the weather warming, dining al fresco is back. I love the charm of the Serena and Lily pagoda influenced rattan lanterns. They’re lovely indoors or out, clustered together or individually. For a limited time, shipping is free at Serena and Lily with code EXPLORE.
