Several of you have asked for more detailed information on the Hermès Calya Mule and other options if your size is unavailable. First though, if your heart is set on the style from Hermès, don’t give up. When I visited the Hermès store in Dallas a few weeks ago, they just received a new shipment. Additionally, I’ve seen them come and go on the Hermès website. It helps to know about fit so you can secure yours if one becomes available and my suggestion is to definitely size down. And what to wear them with? Just about everything. In the Hermès SS21 collection, they were paired with virtually every look.
There are plenty of other chic options including these from Khaite (surprisingly more expensive than Hermès), Gucci, Ancient Greek Sandals, Bally, Isabel Marant, and a price friendly style from Free People.
Just added:
Continuing with the Gift Guide Series, there are some beautiful little jewelry finds, specifically 14k gold, included in Shopbop’s Style Event sale. Lovely little items for stocking stuffers or to tuck under the tree.

Karima, thank you for posting these alternatives. I bought the Khaite pair and while they are beautiful, I simply cannot justify spending this kind of money on clogs. If it was an “investment piece”, then perhaps, but clogs feel trendy, so back they go.
Karima
Agreed. There’s something for everyone in a variety of price points in the selection I posted.

I bought the Ancient Greek sandals clog. It was very small so I am exchanging for a larger size. It is very good looking and works for a narrow foot.

Good to know about sizing. Thank you.
