If I had to select one item to add this fall to my wardrobe, it would be a lightly padded quilted topper. The most modern styles are clean and minimal without a hood. Short, long, zipper, snaps – it all works. They’re incredibly versatile too worn both day and night, or to elevate my workout attire. Even on an a-line skirt the quilting looks chic.
My favorites are from Veronica Beard, Zella, J.Crew, Toteme, and a cropped version from Moncler which I’d wear with high waisted trousers to dinner.

Have you look at Marfa Stance? I have ordered several pieces and quite happy with the mix and match–investment pieces.

Those are fantastic! Thank you for sharing!

Where are the jackets in photo from?
Karima
The one on the left is from Warehouse Fashion in the UK. I don’t have the source for the image on the right.

I don’t know how others feel, but I think the jackets without a collar worn with a turtleneck underneath give the whole look a bit more of an edge. Just my opinion! That green jacket in the right photo is so pretty. Karima, do you remember several years back when Moncler offered a full-length down skirt? So fun.

Agree with Kim. I am currently wearing mine this way and when the temperature drops will wear with a statement knit/cashmere scarf. Such a big selection currently on offer to buy at the moment espeically in uk/europe – ranging from affordable to expensive. I can see myself buying another one…love the one on the right… need to hunt this one down:)

Agree with both you and Kim. Everyone loves the one on the right including me! The color, length and overall style is fantastic. If anyone can source it, please share.

I saw a jacket similar to the bright green one pictured above at Frankie Shop. It is sold out on Net-a-porter. It is a moss green instead of bright green. It’s called the Teddy Quilted Jacket.
