The bounty of beautiful objects and pieces to wear in textured neutrals has me in the mood to lighten up everything – from wardrobe to home. I picked up Carrie Forbes slides on the suggestion of a friend and just love them. They are going to be my kick-on and go summer sandal this year. I also grabbed this crinkled gauzy top from MOTHER the minute I saw it. I’m always excited to see this silhouette…long sleeves and a deep v-neck. It’s a favorite and is usually very flattering on. Throwing a raffia bag into the mix makes sense and would immediately add a summer note to any outfit. The multi purpose clutch from Loeffler Randall is a good find, especially for travel, tossed in a large tote or carried on its own. And if you’ve followed me long enough, you’ll know I have a thing for soft bucket hats that fold up nicely in a handbag for last minute sun protection. An absolute must for any warm weather adventures – city or beach. This J.Crew frayed denim number is my newest find. Lastly, the perfect summer entertaining pieces from Aerin Lauder’s collection for Williams Sonoma are utterly chic!

I bought the other style raffia slides from Jenni Kayne – I found these sort of wide? Did you notice that at all? I actually love your style more, but I kept walking out of them.
That raffia clutch is perfect – I wish I had time to order it before I leave for Florida….All great items.

Actually I was the opposite in sizing. The single strap was too wide for me and I kept sliding through them. The double strap is also sort of wide, but the second strap holds my foot in place. They’re both great styles though. Love the color. Have a great time in Florida!
