Every now and then, I like to step away from my tried and true methods for entertaining and get a jolt of inspiration from something new. Relais & Châteaux’s The Art of Entertaing is certainly food for inspiration with menus and recipes combined artfully with table settings and florals. I like the wide range of events in the book from a casual Wine Harvest Dinner or Beach Taco Fiesta to more formal occasions like Afternoon Tea or a Southern-Style Brunch. There’s something, even if a minute detail, that can be translated to entertaining at home for any occasion. Gathered from Relais & Châteaux properties across North America, each reflects the personality and ambiance of location and host. A great book to add to the shelf.
