My denim round-up continues with another keeper, this time from Brock Collection. What do I love about them? The fit is good for me, just high enough on the waistline and slim enough in the thigh. The wash and finish have an authentic feel with 100% cotton providing a stiffness you don’t get in a stretch jean. They’re good rolled up or left undone. And, they’re clean.
On a side note, after years of denim with stretch, there’s an adjustment to the comfort expectation. A cotton denim may feel snug at first, but if you remember from the pre-stretch days, they give pretty quickly once on. This fabrication works especially well on the Brock Wright Jean, which is not a tight fit to begin with.
I think Matches Fashion has the best selection. Barneys also carries them, but by the time you add tax, they’re almost $100 more expensive and they take much longer to ship. From Matches, they’re perfectly packaged and on my doorstep in two days.

May I ask which wash have you bought? They look so nice on you!
Karima
Ziville- I have the mid-blue wash. If you click on the image of the first pair under the post, you’ll link directly to the ones I purchased. I’m considering the lighter blue ones as well. I think that wash looks good too.
Kathy
I bought them after your first denim post and I love mine – thanks. You look great!
Karima
I’m glad you love yours too!

Your whole outfit looks great – especially the chunky pendant – may I ask is this a vintage piece?
Karima
Thank you Paula. Yes, the pendant is vintage. It was my great-grandmothers.
Preston
You look amazing! Love the vintage pendant, too.
Karima
Thank you Preston!
