The quiet luxury of Max Mara translates beautifully to a bomber jacket, a style I’ve been eyeing for the last few seasons. I’m glad I didn’t pull the trigger on others I considered, because this one was worth the wait. Luxe casual is a favorite theme in how I like to dress so when I came across Max Mara’s signature camel hair constructed into a street smart bomber, I knew it would work. Simplicity dictates the style with punctuation only in the form of a two-way gold zipper front and at pockets. A satin stripe down the arms is a nod to both the tuxedo and varsity jacket.
I quickly snapped this up on Mytheresa where over the years I’ve been building a wardrobe of collectable hero pieces. In many of my posts, I’m rewearing items from purchases from several seasons ago – jackets from Acne Studios and The Row, shirts from The Row and AMI Paris (wearing above), Toteme boots and Givenchy belt (also wearing), etc. It’s because of Mytheresa’s tightly curated edit, I return to shop every season. And, as I’ve mentioned before, their customer service is top notch. Shipping for orders over $300 to the US is free of charge and orders are usually received within two days. The no charge return/exchange process is all done online, including scheduling a courier to pick up the package. It’s incredibly convenient.
