Like last year’s Gift Guide Series, I’ll be posting gift ideas under various themes over the next few weeks. As new items catch my eye, they will be added to keep the lists fresh and updated.
On a timely note, with holiday gatherings right around the corner, I’ll start with gifts for the host. This list includes items I think are great to have on hand for last minute arrangements, house warming, or to bring as a house guest. Add a few to your gift closet and you’ll always have something to give.

I am always thrilled to find items that would serve as the anchor for a gift to embellish. The beautifully woven wicker baskets make a good example. Elevate a potted holiday plant or orchid with one of these. Available in two sizes. Same theory goes for vases, trays and other catch-alls. Add baked goods or treats to personalize the gifting. Gourmet food items are always well received too.
