This is a follow up to a previous post on Style Inspiration Abroad. The classic trio I described – jeans, loafers and a navy blazer – resonated with many of you so I’m furthering the discussion taking that look though spring and beyond with a focus on the navy blazer. In June last year, we traveled to Paris and I was grateful to have a blazer with me for cool evenings and breezy days. A black blazer works just as well but I think navy feels a little more fresh for the season. The Rag & Bone Slade blazer is a favorite with a good combination of structured and soft making it ideal for travel. It’s an incredibly versatile piece. Styling options below.
navy blazer, white tank top, striped knit, navy top, white pants, khaki trousers, striped pants, jeans, ecru dress, raffia bag, burgundy bag, cream flat sandals, loafers, ballerina flats, silk scarf
navy blazer, jeans, silk scarf, burgundy bag, black loafer, gray socks
navy blazer, navy top, white tank, striped pants, khaki trousers, raffia bag, flat sandals
navy blazer, ecru dress (also in brown), silk scarf, burgundy bag and black loafers, raffia bag and flat sandal for a more casual look
navy blazer, white pants or these, beige ballerina flat, burgundy bag, white or navy top
navy blazer, jeans, flat sandal, striped knit, burgundy bag
All items are interchangeable. The scarf works with every look, the bags can be swapped depending on occasion, sandals or loafers dictated by weather, all tops go with all bottoms. Everything anchored by the navy blazer. If this were in my suitcase, the only thing I’d add are a pair of sneakers.
The Slade Navy Blazer is available at Net-a-Porter, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Rag & Bone, Shopbop – whatever store is your favorite.
