As most of you know, I shop at COS for most of my basics. The silhouettes are spot on for stylish under the radar pieces that wear well with almost everything in my closet.
I recently picked up several things, like the Parachute top I shared a couple of weeks ago (and quickly sold out). My latest haul includes a double faced wool jacket (first fall purchase), ecru loafers (on their way), and new pants (I’m wearing tailored more than jeans lately).
I like the poplin shirts at COS and added a short sleeve crisp option in white and blue (sold out). They’re a great shape and will pair well with all the trousers. The gathered sleeveless white shirt is fabulous and more of a statement piece. It will look good with high waist jeans or a skirt.
A pair of stretch black pants and matching tee will serve as a good base layer, mostly for travel. Ideal they are in the same fabric for a clean look.
I have a number of dresses from COS and just added a shirt dress style to self tie or pair with a wide belt (above image). It runs very large. I also like the sleeveless style and this v-neck silhouettein black or ecru.
I’ve had good luck with the cashmere at COS and like this oversized silhouette in gray. I’ll wear it with a slim bottom or straight skirt.
And when I want to wear a low key belt, this simple, no logo style will do just fine.
More details below. This is not a sponsored post. Images via COS.
Sleeveless top in crisp white poplin features draped layers of fabric that envelop the body, creating voluminous pleats and gathers. The back is just as pretty as the front with wrap-around fabric-covered press studs. Size up.
Six-ply 100% cashmere turtleneck provides a luxuriously weighty hand feel. Oversized cocooning shape with a high turtleneck, dropped shoulders and wide ribbed trims. Also in black and dark brown.
Black jersey pants with a touch of stretch for flexibility and kick-flare silhouette (size down). I’ll wear them with the matching T-shirt.
White cotton-poplin boxy shirt that I’ll wear over slim skirts or pants. (limited sizes left)
Midi shirt dress with a structured pointed collar, voluminous raglan sleeves (I prefer them rolled up) and a back-elasticated waist. The concealed placket keeps the silhouette minimal, while the detachable belt can be used to cinch the silhouette. Runs very large.
Boxy fit double face wool jacket. I sized way down for a more tailored fitted look. Also in navy.
Ecru Loafers (also in black)

Disappointed that for the black pants COS doesn’t provide a petite option. Unless one is tall, long inseams are quite impractical.

Some of the COS pants are available in petite sizes. The tailored trousers for example.
