My uniform is in the stages of being tweaked. As an alternative to denim, I’m reaching for these soft khaki pants from Vince that seem to go with everything in my closet. I’ll wear them with a tonal top for a clean head to toe olive look punctuated with a stripe sweater or little black jacket.
My new favorite selection of shirts is from TWP. I have a few and they look good with this pant (this style too), several skirts, or anything high waisted since they’re cropped. The sleeve detailing with multiple cuff options is what makes them special. Plus, the collar and neck fall just right.
When I’m not slipping on a ballerina or Mary Jane – currently the strongest contenders for shoe of the season, I’m reaching for a simple flat sandal. Manolo Blahnik has a classic I’m considering in white or black. It’s a beautiful basic I’d wear for years.
