This month, my mind is on dresses. I would like to find a couple to get me through upcoming graduations then other casual events down the road. I want the dress to have the flexibility to be worn with flats or heels, dressed up or down. I’m also leaning towards dresses that fall below the knee this season. I like the elongated, lean look they provide plus, they feel fresh to me. Sticking with black and white, these two options, from Sportmax and Joseph are top contenders. Their understated simplicity offers loads of versatility. Both heeled or flat sandals would work beautifully. Snake-skin acts as a great neutral and the block heel on Barney New York‘s sandal is both current and a comfortable height. The clean lines of the suede Manolo sandal add sophistication to the classic flat. Rather than another leather bag, canvas is a nice alternative, like Loewe‘s smart looking shoulder bag. And with the shift in seasons, a quick update to my lip color is in order. Rather than go with a nude, I’m drawn to the beauty of a dusty pastel pink. Cle de Peau offers a sheer luminizer in a wide array of colors.
