There’s no reason to deal with Saturday shopping crowds when I can get it done more efficiently from the comforts of home. This morning, I went through the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale* while relaxing in my backyard and pulled together pieces I thought A Note on Style readers would find relevant.
I don’t pay much attention to the fall fashion aspect of the sale. Instead, I go through and see if there are any items I would be buying regardless of a discount. I’ll look for essentials and basics like these Frame jeans and cashmere sweaters or specifically zero in on a favorite designer, such as Nili Lotan. Browsing around, I also found some casual fine jewelry pieces that would layer well with pieces I own or make nice gifts. I checked out the beauty category for devices I’ve been tempted to try and perhaps now will finally purchase. More gifting options include a set of Diptyque candles or a beautiful home fragrance. I also wanted to include a few pieces for travel in this brief edit from mini fragrance sets to carry-on luggage. My Tumi luggage has held up beautifully, so when I see their products on sale, I want to share with readers.
