Thank you to everyone who provided feedback in yesterday’s post. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and am touched by the overwhelming kind words and support. Now more than ever, connecting with others is incredibly gratifying even it’s virtual through the blog. I’m so thankful for A Note on Style’s community of readers and always look forward to hearing from you.
This morning I woke up and it felt like Groundhog Day. Prior to self-isolating, my morning routine had a time frame before shifting gears to get dressed and continue on with my day. With nothing new on the schedule, day after day, the repetitiveness finally sunk in and it felt odd.
I’m so ready to put on something other than workout clothes and jeans. I look forward to the time I can wear the things in my closet that are quickly overlooked now. Those days will return in the future but meanwhile, I’m looking back to just a few weeks ago when I was freely running around town in real clothes – a crisp shirtdress and loafers. To me, it’s a classic combo, just like jeans and a blazer. Thank goodness for the classics because no matter how long they go untouched, they’ll never go out of style.
