A GOOD TIME TO TRY PROLON

A GOOD TIME TO TRY PROLON

Since my first round of ProLon in 2019, I’ve been a big fan. I’ve written several posts about the program and my experience (you can read them all here). I’m often asked if I still continue with additional rounds and the answer is yes. I like how I feel mentally and physically after the 5-day program with a clear mind, increased energy and a smaller appetite. As a personal re-set, I try to complete 3 – 4 rounds each year, approximately quarterly.

purchase ProLon and read more about the program here

I’ve done a few of the fasts with ProLon’s Group Fasts. If you’re new to the program, or need a little encouragement, it’s a great place to start. Even as someone who has experience with the five day protocol, I learn something new every time. Plus, discussing all of the benefits of the Fast Mimicking Diet with others keeps me focused and motivated.

The next group fast starts on Sunday, April 25th (prep day) followed by a Monday-Friday five day fast. I’d order a ProLon kit now if you want to register and join the group fast. There’s another starting May 10th.

On a side note, ProLon FMD program was recently named one of 2021’s “5 Stellar Wellness Tools” by Forbes magazine.

Additional posts on ProLon are available HERE.

I am on day 5 of the ProLon Fast. The second day was tough, headache and fatigue. Feeling terrific today. Looking forward to keeping up the light eating. Thank you for the recommendation.

I don’t know…I’m not sure what its purpose would be outside of a fast.

Karima I remember you sharing about not drinking coffee in the morning when you did your first fast. Did you recommend weaning off a few days before to avoid headaches or is coffee allowed?

I would recommend cutting back on caffeine before you start. You’re right, the first round I didn’t consume any coffee and I think that made the fast tougher. Subsequent rounds included the one allowed cup of black coffee per day. I’d start my mornings with herb tea or hot water then enjoy my coffee mid morning. I don’t know if it makes a difference but I felt like starting the day with clean fluids kept my blood sugar levels at bay.
