Several of the purchases I made this fall have become staples to my uniform. I’ve been wearing them on repeat and will continue to through the next season. It caught my eye that pieces from Totême are the ones I reach for most frequently. I like the subtle tweak to classic silhouettes that make them stylish but very wearable for day to day activities.

My go to boot right now is Totême’s low heel style that fits snugly around the ankle. It looks great with cropped pants and has the perfect toe to peek out from longer hems too. When I find something I love, I buy doubles so it was with no hesitation that I snapped up the brown stamped crocodile version the minute I saw it. Ditto for the oversized striped sweater. With an exaggerated wide sleeve, it’s great on its own but layers over a thin long sleeve tee when I want more warmth. I also have it in black.

I’ll keep going on with Totême and share how much I love their graphic silk scarves too. The silk has a great hand and the patterns are modern. Because of their neutral palette, at least one usually makes it in my suitcase when traveling.

What’s the secret on the Toteme boots? I ordered a pair, tried them on and had to get my husband to remove them from my feet! And I have skinny ankles, too!

They are snug on the ankles but that’s why I like them. Did you keep them?

No, they would have been impossible to wear. . . Or at least take off by myself. I love the shape and look, too.
