Whenever I travel to destinations with unpredictable or varying weather, I toss this lightweight shell in my suitcase. It takes up little space and is almost weightless. On those days when a tee is too light and a puffer too heavy, it serves its purpose. This is an old Moncler piece (continuing to shop my closet!) but there are plenty of new options that work beautifully.

Toteme cashmere hat (so warm and a great purchase!)
I have 2 similar jackets. One in black that I can’t remember where or how long ago I bought it. The other is a lovely shade of blue that I bought in Ireland. The black goes with me on most trips, but the blue is perfect for summer or warmer climates. Both have hoods and take up no space.
A few of us were just singing the praises of the Loro Piana Traveler Storm System jacket over on Keep It Chic, for all the same reasons! Definitely one of my lowest cost-per-wear pieces and it’s been literally around the world with me. Thank you for the great ideas and inspiration; I’m a fan.
That’s a great jacket too!
