Dresses are great, but lately, I’m into skirted separates and their versatility. I’m particularly fond of this creamy beige color and how it’s complemented by brown, black, and navy. It would really be striking with a coat in a similar shade for a monochromatic, sophisticated look. The Toteme boots and Bottega Veneta bag are repeat favorites on the blog.

I feel like separates are always the way to go because they’re so much more versatile – things don’t need to be cleaned as often, they travel better, etc. A printed dress is more memorable and can’t be worn as frequently – great for special occasions but for me, not as useful for daily life.

I find it very difficult and hard to “decide”. Being a mom of 4 under 9- I prefer dresses- as the “decision” is made for me. I find separated add to my decision fatigue.
