Rather than create a full Mother’s Day Gift Guide, I’m sharing items here and there that would be lovely to gift or receive. As a forever fan of Suzanne Rheinstein’s work, I pre-ordered her book A Welcoming Elegance months before the publication date. It’s another favorite and will be especially treasured as her final book. A bundle of her three books (if you can track them down) would be a very thoughtful gift to share Rheinstein’s legacy, creativity and passion for design.

I’m drawn to pretty little objects and seem to always find a place for them. The Baccarat crystal butterfly would be pretty perched on a book, desktop, shelf, nightstand…anywhere. I like the unique amber option, but the gold topaz is beautiful too.
I first spotted the Altuzarra Secret Garden pattern as dinnerware and immediately fell for it. But I didn’t want to buy and definitely don’t need a new set of dishes. A small rectangular tray (top photo) makes sense though or the square size below. A set of desert plates is nice too.
The Kendall Conrad Abancio II cuff is so comfortable to wear I hardly take it off. Made of brass, it can be pinched to size for a snug fit. I love the bold but minimalist statement it adds to an outfit. In addition to brass, Kendall Conrad’s jewelry pieces are available in sterling silver, gold plated or can be custom made in 14k or 18k gold.

What a lovely selection of beautiful gifts. I would be happy to give or receive any of them.

Beautiful gift ideas, esp the Baccarat butterfly! Instantly made me think of your crystal Christmas trees, which by the way led me on the hunt and I was able to curate two of my own!

Your suggestions are always spot on. Thank you! Would you mind sharing the source of those lovely earrings? I’ve noticed them before and just love them!

Thank you. I bought the earrings at Neiman Marcus over 15 years ago. They’re so comfortable and get a lot of wear. I don’t know the brand though.
