For years, I never weighed myself. I trusted my clothing to keep me informed and on track. But after I started ProLon in 2019, I’ve become more acutely aware and interested in fluctuations. Weighing in daily has become part of my morning routine. I have a Whithings Smart Scale which records not only weight, but a full body composition including body fat, BMI, water percentage, muscle and bone mass and sends that information directly to my phone. I love having that data stored and easily accessible. The newest model also records heart rate and vascular age. As I weighed in this morning, it dawned on me to create a wellness gift guide starting with a Withings scale.
Other favorites I personally use include Apple AirPods, an Eleckticity kitchen scale, Theragun, HydroFlask and of course, a ProLon kit*. I think they all speak for themselves as far as essentials.
Wellness gifts include anything from a gym membership or a class pass to massages or other therapy. Even a fitness retreat could be appreciated. Consider a Smart Garden for the health conscious chef or upgrade at home workout gear with a Power Ring. But perhaps the best part of any well rounded wellness routine is down time. Relax with a cozy blanket and an Ember warmed cup of tea. Keep track of activities and sleep (and everything else!) with a smart looking Apple Watch.

I’m on the fence about getting an InfraRed Mat. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you use one.

I’ve used the Oura ring for about 3 years now. I love the information it provides, especially heart rate variability.

I’ve been using the HigherDose infrared mat for about 3 months now, ever since Dr Mark Hyman recommended it. I use it every single day before going to bed. Sometimes I use it during the day too. Oftentimes, I fall asleep while on the mat. I helps me relax. I’ve noticed my HRV has increased. I’m slightly addicted to it and miss it when traveling.
