My grab and go staple color is black. I love it year round but think it looks especially chic when it shares attention with a bit of skin. I’m always adding great black items to my wardrobe knowing they’ll be the ones I reach for time and time again.
For the Toteme dress (also available in white), I appreciate a sleeveless look when there is still generous coverage. That takes it up a notch and feels more appropriate for a wider range of events. Same goes for the longer length.
Both of these bags are superb. I love the idea of having a small pouch for my phone and a couple of cards when running around. The woven tote is perfect for summer quickly transitioning from beach to street.
The cut and weight of the AGOLDE tank is elevated and would layer well under cardigans and blazers. Essential, simple and chic.
And lastly, the shoes and bags Gabriela Hearst designed for Chloe SS23 are hitting the right mark for me. This buckled sandal is fabulous!

I, too, love wearing black in the summer. And, as you know, living in Southern California usually means our summer blacks can be worn almost through the month of November. I ordered this dress and am looking forward to its arrival.
