I’m following up on some of the products I’ve talked about recently and tried on at home.
For starters, many of you asked for more details on the HIGH SPORT pant. They are well made and the fabric would travel really well, but the cut wasn’t flattering for my frame. I know they’re incredibly popular and those that own them, swear they’re perfection in a pant. I’ll also add the sizing was not ideal for me. After ordering and exchanging, they were either too large or too small and never quite gave me the fit I was after.
The GUCCI T-strap sandal I adore and grabbed in two sizes before they sold out (again!) were sadly too wide for my narrow foot. Talk about being disappointed. They are absolutely beautiful. If you can find your size, grab them. At the moment, size 7.5 and 9 are available here. The petite GG accented T-strap is continuing into fall on a ballet flat and slingback pump.
And…the winner. The Parachute Top from COS is amazing. The perfect statement top that completes anything it’s paired with. I bought the black as back up for my favorite top from THE ROW plus the green to give a test drive and glad I did because they’re already sold out in my size.

Karima, I appreciate your honesty on the High Sport pants, especially given the price. When I first saw them, they reminded me a lot of the Akris Punto pants that you recommended and I’m guessing are made of a similar fabric. I purchased those several years ago and still love them.

Based on your post, I purchased the COS green parachute top. It’s due to arrive this week. I’m really looking forward to receiving it. I didn’t buy the black, because I had something similar, but now I wish I had! Oh well. Thanks for the tip!

Sadly, I also found the High Sport to be an unflattering fit. It went from a narrow upper thigh to loose above the knee.I also found the fabric itchy. I had high hopes as well.
