A hiking trip to Montana got derailed due to my partially torn hamstring flaring up. Instead of cancelling though, we pivoted and spent the week on a more relaxed note – biking, boating, fly fishing and enjoying quality time with good friends. It was a perfect get away to wind down summer.
Dries van Noten has been back on my radar lately. The fall collection has some great pieces that would layer nicely into my wardrobe. I’m not quite ready for fall fashion yet but had my first moment of inspiration from a story on Catherine Deneuve in Harper’s Bazaar France. As the cover star of their Icons issue, it’s refreshing to see classic beauty, style and age get much deserved attention. The photography and styling embraces it all beautifully.
