REPEAT PURCHASES

REPEAT PURCHASES

When editing my closet, it becomes obvious what type of items I favor. Flared pants, print silk blouses and jackets are three on the top of that list. They not only survive the closet purge, but I continue adding more pieces in new colors, prints and fabrics. When I really love something, I’ll buy duplicates.

The S Max Mara soft peacoat is an old staple which I also have in ecru. The Nili Lotan polka dot blouse is a recent purchase on sale from fall and adds to my collection. The flared corduroy trousers from Nili Lotan are also a fall purchase that I ended up getting in two colors. I’ve been trying to avoid jeans every day for variety.

Variations on the above have become my grab and go outfit lately.

Nili Lotan flared corduroy pants, print blouse (I also like this one), S Max Mara jacket – similar styles here and here in navy and here in black.

Hi Karima, I know this post is about clothing…all lovely….but, would you mind telling me where you found those darling tuffets?
Also, love your herringbone sisal rug.

Thank you Patricia. The bamboo tuffets are vintage acquired a long time ago from a flea market. I’ve reupholstered them over the years. Currently they’re done in a Kathryn Ireland block print linen.

The sisal rug is from Stark. Just beginning to show its age after 20 years!

I love Karima’s style, but find myself looking at her home too! Great style all around.

No surprise on your answers. For those of us who love antiques, vintage and the like, nothing can replace it. All beautiful.
