I prefer shopping for pieces in sync with the current season. Anything newly purchased has a place in mind usually filling a void in my closet for something I’d like to wear now. COS just added fresh summer pieces that are timely and speak to this theme. I have full skirts on my mind, and there are several to choose from – both maxi and midi. I already own several COS linen pieces in black and white (they have been the core of my suitcase for warm weather travel) and will add more in beige. Now is also the time I’ll replace tired looking tees and tanks. I’m buy several in white and wear them year round.
I have both styles of their classic tee…clean cut and shrunken. The taupe would be a nice addition. I wear a medium.
I’ve been on the hunt for a white cotton skirt until now. I missed all the good ones I posted on early in the season and they sold out. Love the relaxed style with a simple tank or matching poplin shirt. The COS tanks fit beautifully…not too tight, a perfect neckline, modest – everything I want in a tank top.
When I see a skirt like this, it goes immediately in my cart. Skimming the floor, in an interesting color, with a novelty patch pocket is a win, win, win. I don’t love it shown here with the matching top though, it feels too heavy. It needs a slim or cropped top to balance the proportions.
This silhouette is very basic but appeals to me right now. The pockets make both styles perfect. (Selling fast!)
Linen maxi skirt, Poplin midi length
I’ll add new linen pieces to my collection. They are perfect for travel. I don’t mind the wrinkles and think they add to the beauty and relaxed vibe of the fabric.

I love your style and your style suggestions. I’ve purchased many of them. However, I am 5’3. Would you ever consider doing a post for those of us who are shorter? Thanks.

Thank you. I think most of the items I share would work on a variety of heights. I can see some shying away from floor sweeping maxi skirts, or very wide leg pants, but they can be styled to look flattering. Look at @erinoffduty for inspiration. Although I don’t know her exact height, the way dresses and skirts fall on her frame makes be think she is petite.
