TRANSITIONAL PIECES TO WEAR THIS MONTH

TRANSITIONAL PIECES TO WEAR THIS MONTH

Welcome to March. For me, it’s the month that kicks off winter to spring transitional dressing. I’m in the mood for a seasonal change with a lighter palette but not quite ready for fabrics that sacrifice warmth. So with jeans – dark, light or white – I’ll pair a soft unlined jacket that will layer over a tank, tee, or sweater without excess bulk. I’ll go with a color and shape that lends itself to cozy dressing with boots, a casual run-around outfit with loafers, or dressed up a bit with a heeled sandal.

The pea coat I’m wearing above from S Max Mara is a great example. It’s part of a group of key transitional items I’ve picked from MyTheresa that I’ll be sharing all week. I love this jacket! The slightly cropped, boxy silhouette feels modern. The softness factor and color are divine. It’s the perfect grab and go piece that works beautifully for daytime layering or as an evening topper. For California, it will serve as a year round piece.

I’ve raved about shopping on MyTheresa before. I’m thrilled to partner with them since I purchase a fair amount of my luxury buys on their site. It’s a favorite online destination for fashion edited to my taste. And with fresh products arriving daily, I never miss my morning email to see what’s new. I often find unique items and designers on MyTheresa.com I’ve not seen on other sites, or pieces in a color way other retailers don’t stock…like the S Max Mara jacket above. Orders arrive within days and the return process is a breeze if it doesn’t work out.

Thank you MyTheresa for supporting this post.

I love the way you have styled these pieces… they look way better than on the MyTheresa website.
So much so, that I’ve just ordered the cream pea coat. I just hope it looks as great on me as it does on you.

What size of S Max Mara ivory pea coat you have? Is it true to size?

    • Karima

I’m wearing a size 36. It’s true to size but if you have broad shoulders or a full chest I’d go up a size.
