Post travel brings to the front of my mind overall looks that worked and I wish I had more of. For a trip that takes you to a variety of destinations – city, country, beach – relaxed separates are the way to go. Pairing them tonally offers the most versatility and exudes a pulled together vibe appropriate and comfortable for a city stroll. Accessories further define the look with flip flops or Birkenstocks for casual days or ballerinas, Mary Janes or a more polished sandal for something more elevated.

The pieces work endlessly together or as separates for different situations…tops with shorts for the beach, bottoms with a sweater or blouse. The shoes and accessories dictate the finished vibe.
Further look at each item as a key separate to wear with the other things you plan on packing. See what a jacket adds to the equation. A simple, relaxed blazer topping any of it projects nonchalant ease…exactly how I want to feel and look.
