It’s Almost Sweater Weather – A Week Of Denim: Day One

It’s Almost Sweater Weather – A Week Of Denim: Day One

Even the slightest dip in temperature has me relishing the idea of sweater weather. The day may start off with a morning chill in the air, worthy of a cozy knit, but I’m well aware it will most likely need to be peeled off by mid-afternoon. Hence, the essential layering we live by in southern California. Unless it’s truly cold, I won’t wear a sweater without a tee or shirt underneath that is worthy enough to stand on its own at some point in the day. The other key is to avoid bundling up too much, which is why slides or any sock-less shoe balance out my body temperature and keep me comfortable. I realize this isn’t practical for most places, but it works well here. And as soon as the weather warrants, boots will be making their appearance.

Jil Sander shirt; Joseph sweater; Victoria Victoria Beckham jeans; Marni necklace; The Row shoes
