This Month…Fall’s First Look

This Month…Fall’s First Look

September officially marks the first step towards transitioning to fall. It may not be cool enough for sweaters yet, but I’m definitely thinking about them and other pieces to start a wish list. I already know four things that will make this list and give my wardrobe a seasonal boost – something plaid, bold gold jewelry, any shade of red, and flat mules.

The best part is they’re wearable now without the chance of overheating. For example, Tibi’s plaid trouser is lightweight enough to toss on with sneakers and a tee now then bundle up with a sweater or jacket later. If I want to add a little red, it’s super easy with a pretty merlot shade of polish or a very chic little bag. I think the easiest update and look I’ll incorporate will be with heavier gold jewelry. I’m excited about the return of bold hoops, chunky bracelets, and chain necklaces to replace the daintier pieces I’ve been wearing lately. Change is good.

camel poncho, plaid pants, white shirt, bag, mules, polish, hoops
