In last week’s post, I mentioned dipping into color to add a little oomph to my wardrobe. Shades of green and blue draw me in and are hard to pass up. I think they look especially good grounded with dark colors. Brown, for instance. The combination feels modern and adds longevity to styling a number of other pieces in my closet. Popped with white as an accessory, something as simple as pearls, makes a fresh statement.
I’ve got all of the above pieces on my eye right now. The Galvan dress in a gorgeous deep brown would make a style statement for seasons to come. I prefer wearing a flat with a slip dress and this Giorgio Armani stone embellished sandal would add a low key, elegant note. If I want to casually cover up a bit, the Jacquemus black shirt would step in (and work with numerous other looks too). Bottega Veneta’s Mallard Blue marries my favorite shades of blue and green resulting in this exceptional teal. I can’t wait to introduce this color to my closet. I’d layer Sophie Buhai‘s knotted pearl choker with my other necklaces or wear simply on it’s own. Lastly, the deep espresso shade in Chanel’s eye pencil is so much more interesting than black. I’m giving it a try.

Just love r
That Jacquemus shirt! Now I have to decide between the white or black! Thank you for highlighting it…never would have found it on my own.
