I’ve detoured lately with a mini obsession for printed, lightweight dresses. Most of them feel more vacation oriented though so to cover my bases, I’m turning my focus on to fresh versions of the shirtdress. The CO long and Theory short dresses above immediately caught my eye for their practicality and unique color. I’d accessorize with brown or black for a classic look or add a pop of color for a look that’s more unexpected. I’m adding Tom Ford’s matte extension lipstick here because it’s the perfect pale pink that works with everything.

Hello. Although your selections are out of my price range, your taste is so perfect that I use your choices as a guide for staying current. I cannot help but take note that you have paired these two dresses with shoes and bags in very different colors. I like it, but was surprised. I guess that fashion is going in that direction?
Thanks for your wonderful edits.

I’ve always felt that the looks I share could be interpreted across a range of price points and appreciate your comment. As far as not matching the color of a bag to shoes, I think it looks fresh and works well when the colors are bright or bold.

Ditto Susan R Gordon. Karima you make me think outside the box while keeping it modern classic
