“IT” BELTS

“IT” BELTS

On first glance, Khaite’s studded belt looked a little too familiar in a flash back to the 80s way. It’s reminiscent of what I wore in my youth, which made me hesitant to embrace the style. But, it has grown on me in a big way. I love it, especially the way creative director Catherine Holstein styles it for her collection. Pair with simple pieces and let it steal the show. It’s a game changer piece adding edge and currency.

If the studs are too much of a reach, the next best is a hardware tipped strap.

I’m welcoming both of these belts for their distinguished look without the hint of a logo. Sort of like, if you know, you know.

That Khaite studded belt is taunting me! And I never wear belts! I need to just pull the trigger and figure out how to wear it.

Curious if you prefer the gold or silver studs…

I love the tipped belt! Would you go with black suede or leather? Not sure if the antique silver on the leather one is quite as versatile?

There’s THIS OPTION or THIS ONE. Both are black leather with silver tip.

Such great belts and as I posted before, love that there’s no designer insignia. Sometimes I feel like I have to be careful when I’m getting dressed so I don’t end up looking like a walking billboard. I ended up pulling the trigger on the Robbie belt. Exactly what my closet needs.

I love the gold and silver. However I would get the silver because I wear more silver. A boutique owner near me had it (the previous version named the Hugo) and I tried it on. It was amazing. She didn’t have any more. Waiting for a re stock because I like to buy local when I can.

    Hi!

I see you in one of your instagram photos you are wearing the Khaite Benny belt! I love the way you have it styled. Two questions:
    1) What color are the studs in the photo? Silver or Gold (sorry, I can’t tell!)
    2) Also, where can I get the purple-brown pants you are wearing in the photo?

    As always, LOVE your blog…….

Thanks! I bought the Khaite belt with the gold studs…and love it! The pants are from COS last season. I purchased quite a few pants from COS this year. They’re well priced, well made and just a little fashion forward.
