When it comes to easy summer dressing, a great dress is on the top of my list. I love the one-and-done appeal combined with personal styling options from shoes and accessories.
One of my favorites is Brochu Walker’s bestselling Havana dress. It’s a beloved silhouette for its ease and versatility. The wide range of colors available make it tempting to stock up on more than one. I’ll wear the taupe shade Bayou (above) now with summer sandals then transition with loafers in early fall. For warm weather dressing, I prefer to wear it loose and flowing, but when I want a little more shape, I’ll belt it. The deep V neckline invites a layering of necklaces – one of my favorite ways to add personality.

I was just looking at this dress! How did you un puff the sleeve? That is what kept me from ordering.

Hmmm…I think the sleeve still has puff but I’m fine with it. Once it’s on, it’s easy to flatten a bit by just giving it a little pull downward.

Could you kindly let me know if it is breathable in hot/humid weather? I love the style…don’t love that it’s not 100% cotton.

I’ve worn it several times in Newport Beach on warm days and it’s very comfortable. I can’t speak for hot/humid weather though.
