MY INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE CURRENT UNIFORM

MY INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE CURRENT UNIFORM

I’m loving the pulled together look of monochromatic dressing, especially when focused on relaxed, easy to wear pieces. Lately, instead of reaching for a pair of jeans, I’m slipping on a pair of loose trousers. This light weight charcoal flannel style from Theory (currently on sale) has been my go to. They have great drape and puddle nicely over loafers creating a modern and less conventionally traditional vibe. I’m pairing with a matching sweater opting for a white turtleneck if I want an extra layer. Interesting gold hoops complete the look. This elegant, geometric pair in 18K yellow gold from Sara Weinstock are beautiful, well priced at $750 and would make a great gift.

sweater (also this and this), trousers, earrings, loafers (more sizes here and here)

I planned to return these pants today. I felt like they were to “light weight” and concerned with quality over time. Also if took on a trip back east figured even with tights might be too light. But I’ll reconsider now!

They are very light weight and I think that’s why they’re so easy to wear in southern California. I’ve sent back numerous trousers that are simply too heavy to wear without overheating. That being said, I agree about traveling to cold climates and would keep these at home.
