A few friends and I planned a lunch and shopping date in LA and we all showed up wearing variations on the above theme. It shouldn’t have surprised any of us since these are workhorse pieces in the closet that have seen many iterations. A wide trouser over mid-heel boots was paired with a blouse or light knit. We were split between short pea coats and knee length wool toppers. A black cross body bag unified our looks even further. We had to chuckle at how funny we must have appeared wearing almost identical outfits.
