TEN PIECES FROM NET-A-PORTER’S FALL 2023 COLLECTION

TEN PIECES FROM NET-A-PORTER’S FALL 2023 COLLECTION

Sponsored by NET-A-PORTER & Collective Voice

My shopping strategy for fall is piece oriented. I like to identify items that make my wardrobe feel modern without appearing trend driven. Versatility is high on the list of requirements. New shoes or bags need to provide an updated boost to my everyday denim looks. Right now, I’ve decided a heeled loafer and flat Mary Jane are two styles up to the task. For bags, I’m liking texture, softness, and shorter straps. The Row’s 90s bag and Bottega Veneta’s Andiamo fit the bill.

Long and lean silhouettes achieved either with maxi dresses or skirts is another focus. The dresses stand on their own, or layered with knits or blazers, and can go from day to night to travel. Classic blazers feel fresh in texture and shape. A tailored cut with subtle detail like Blaze Milano’s camel blazer is a fantastic forever piece.

But perhaps the easiest item for a fall update is a simple crew neck sweater. It’s been around for ages but looks incredibly current now. Especially styled with skirts, it’s a piece I want to stock up on.
