I choose my everyday bag based on function. It’s either a cross body for comfort and to keep my hands free or a tote when I know I’ll need to lug more than a few things around. But when it comes to switching bags for occasions, I like to downsize. It’s an opportunity to add personality to a look with an unusual color or interesting texture.
