I’ve stayed quiet the last few weeks. I didn’t want to add to the clutter of emails about sales that have been bombarding my inbox. The promotions have become too much over the last few years and has taken the joy out of shopping. I love the process of selecting gifts for others but don’t like the distraction of limited time sales and the pressure of deadlines. Now that the environment feels a little more calm, I’m ready to dive in and start my shopping. It’s always fun to put together a gift guide full of luxe items, but I’m also practical and want to share what I think are great items to gift this season – all under $100. Use the guide as a starting point and then cater to the recipient’s taste. I’ll update this page over the next couple of weeks so check back in.
Books are lovely gifts especially when they show thought has been put into the purchase either triggering a memory or recent discussion on a subject. Or quality notepaper personalized or with a signature motif.

I love to gift some of my favorite beauty products or little indulgences someone may not buy for themselves. The Hermes lipsticks are a good example. Or Westman Atelier’s compact with a color palette that works for everyone. Chanel’s dual mirror compact has been a longstanding favorite to gift. Luxe soaps and candles fall into this category too.

I’m also including some household items I use all the time. A frother is a must for me. I use it to mix my favorite collagen, fiber powder, matcha, protein…whatever. Combining it with one of your favorite powders adds a little more menaing to the gift. I get so many questions about my iphone case so I’m including it here too. I discovered VISP from Pamela Salzman and am as equally thrilled with the product as she is. Pamela always has great recommendations that aren’t always on my radar…a must follow in my book.

My hands are always cold in the winter. I keep a pair of fingerless cashmere gloves on my desk to keep them toasty. Ditto for cashmere socks. A few pair in basic or fun colors are a nice splurge. The Bala handheld weights are also nice to have at home for quick mini-workouts – and they’re not unsightly like many.
