FEBRUARY RUN AROUND STYLE

FEBRUARY RUN AROUND STYLE

I’m welcoming the return of  pleated khakis to my closet. They were a core piece of my wardrobe decades ago but have felt dated until recently. Fresh ways to style them present a new spin on casual, run around style. I like them loose, draped over a sneaker or puddling on a flat. A cropped sweater balances the wide silhouette creating a pulled together look. A simple, bold earring adds a hint of polish. If I want to slightly elevate the look, I’ll pair with one of my cropped tweed jackets and a belt.

Vince ballet flat, SLVRLAKE Lola pant, Sophie Buhai earrings, Jenni Kayne sweater, Adidas by Stella McCartney sneaker, Hereu tote

Love your site, but can’t abide by your recommendation to shop at Netaporter. This company’s service is now terrible. If you send something back to them via their carrier (UPS), and it is damaged, they will not refund you. I bought something and needed to return it because it didn’t fit. I used the same box they shipped it to me in and sent it the next day. A couple of days later, the shipment was reported damaged by UPS and the item was lost. They blame insufficient packaging, but it was the same box Netaporter shipped it in; there were no issues with it. Netaporter refuses to deal with this issue, and I am out over $500 dollars. A lot of us who follow sites like yours and Keepitchic purchase online and are used to seamless returns. That had always been my experience with Netaporter, but the one time something goes wrong, they are not willing to work with you as a customer and feel no obligation to give you proof of what’s happened. Buyer beware.

That is not good. I would be equally frustrated and annoyed! Personally, the customer service I’ve had with Net-A-Porter has been great so it’s disappointing to hear about your experience.
