I’m constantly perusing the market to source the best items worth sharing. These five have surfaced to the top of my wish list. I’ll start with Khaite’s beautiful loafer pump. This is a shoe category I’m a bit obsessed with. It literally elevates all my jeans and trousers – both straight or wide leg. The chunky heel provides a utilitarian vibe (walkable) that works nicely with skirts and dresses too. The only delicate feature on this particular shoe is the gold hardware which is understated and lovely.
Bottega Veneta’s vanity case is another current favorite. I have a similar style from Chanel. It’s a perfect casual dinner or lunch bag when I want to carry just a few essentials. Going for a quietly elegant statement, Bottega’s intrecciato weave hits all the right marks. Also available in tan and black.
On a bolder note, a single sculptural piece of jewelry looks modern. There are so many options to either splurge or save. Personally I’m very content with the the black finished brass pendant on a leather cord from COS. Look to Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. for more of a spurge worthy option.
Also from COS, the brushed cashmere fingerless gloves are in my cart. My hands are always cold but I don’t feel the necessity for a full on glove. These are especially good with any of my three quarter sleeve jackets or if I’m layering a coat over a short sleeve. They are also amazing to have on long haul flights.
I have cashmere beanies in a number of colors. They go with me on all of my winter travels. What’s missing in the mix is classic black. I like a relaxed shape for beanies as opposed to a skull cap with enough length to wear slouchy or fitted with the edge folded up. This style from Saint Laurent satisfies that need.
