Newly named director of design at Tiffany & Co., Francesca Amfitheatrof is bringing a clean lined, modern sensibility to the brand with the Tiffany T collection. The bracelets are my favorite. Polished but subtle, they would mix beautifully with other pieces both dressier and more casual. Equally appropriate day or night, work or weekend, it’s the kind of jewelry you would rarely take off. The simple design is sure to become a classic.
Amfitheatrof brings years of experience to Tiffany and Co. having designed for Marni, Chanel, Fendi and Asprey among others. She is the first woman design director at Tiffany and only the eighth person to hold the position since the company’s beginnings in 1837. I’m excited to see where her designs will take us as she oversees all areas of the brand including tableware, gifts and engagement jewelry.
