Since I’ve edited the contents of what I carry in my bag, I’ve been able to downsize. And, with fewer items to transfer from one bag to another, I’m less reluctant to frequently change styles. This has inspired me to curate a collection of small handbags in a variety of colors and shapes. I’m covering the spectrum – from metallics to brights and pastels. My newest addition is beige. I selected this beautiful chamois hued Bottega Veneta and love how it looks with so many things in my closet. The obvious pairing is white, black, brown and other neutrals but contrasted with a color, it takes on a very modern note. I also think it plays beautifully with other textures, especially raffia.
Other bag picks include a smooth leather clutch from The Row, Nanushka’s vegan leather tote, Khaite’s Remi bag, a double knotted strap bag from Jil Sander, and the Padded Cassette from Bottega Veneta. All linked below.
The raffia woven belt I’m wearing is a find from Mytheresa. I spotted it during my morning browse of new content on Mytheresa. It adds an interesting detail to my summer dresses – printed and solid. Pairing with raffia shoes completes the look. See my previous post styling the belt with jeans.
If you’ve been a long time reader, you know Mytheresa is one of my favorite shopping sites. Along with great merchandising, the inventory is updated five days a week so there’s always something new. Plus, their customer service, speedy shipping and thoughtful packaging is top notch.
Thank you Mytheresa for supporting A Note on Style through this post.
