My summer edit of the pieces I don’t want to be without are all pretty basic. No big surprises here. The most “it” piece is the Fisherman sandal. Stepping in to replace Birkenstocks (once in awhile) or dad sandals. I love them worn in the same scenarios as the former – with shorts, dresses, skirts, jeans, etc. White looks good to me too.
Other little updates include a white tee with knotted shoulder detail – an easy and chic piece to pair with a highwaist trouser or skirt. This black CO cotton skirt is a great piece to go from day to night. It’s also available in white. Jeans in a freshly faded grey will replace darker denim. I’d wear the woven white belt as a stylish contrast.
Sneakers and a crossbody bag in a chic neutral both get the nod. A navy swimsuit from Cos Stores is understated elegance and very similar to my Eres suit. I’d top with an oversized poplin shirt and ivory raffia hat for my poolside look. An easy to wear pearl cuff goes with everything. That just may anchor every look.
Looking at all of these pieces, I’m starting to see a packing list in the works. TBC…
