When flying, I always travel with versions of the above. A cashmere scarf for extra warmth, collapsible hat to tame slept in hair on long flights (buckets work best for me), an ultra moisturizing face cream (my preference is La Mer), and comfortable jeans with stretch (Mother Denim’s The Hustler Roller heel is fantastic). I like to move at ease through the airport so a great sneaker (or boot in the winter) is a must. A lightweight carry-on is almost always all I need.
Sidenote on Mother The Hustler High Roller jean…this is my current favorite style (I have it in three washes). With a decent amount of stretch, they were comfortable on the 10+ hour flight to Paris, plus looked good on arrival. The high-waist, wide leg style lends a trouser like look which makes them easy to dress up. I feel more polished wearing these and the longer length looks modern to me now.
