April – the month of transitioning from winter fashion to spring is here. I love the cold and am not quite ready to shed the layers but I do have my eye on a few pieces that will nudge me in the right direction. A straight basic jean will continue to anchor looks and will look current paired with Saint Laurent’s new blade flat and a burgundy bag. These items will serve me well through fall. I love a little black jacket to toss on over a thin knit, tee or tank. The relaxed silhouette from Toteme is perfect. The somewhat unstructured shape will look great in the summer over an all white ensemble. A go-to uniform forever has been jeans and a white poplin shirt. I’d up the style factor with a tie neck, full sleeve cut for impact. Tod’s contrasting leather slide provides another level of interest.
