There are combinations that don’t require much thought. They’re the pieces I instinctively reach for on days when I want to look put together without overanalyzing. The second is a poplin shirt with jeans, which needs little explanation. Straightforward, but the details matter. I like the shirt oversized, unbuttoned, sleeves rolled, and tucked in. I want it to project a relaxed vibe and those small adjustments are what make the difference between looking effortless and overthought.
