FOUND! NEW LOAFERS!

FOUND! NEW LOAFERS!

A few weeks ago, I mentioned I was on the hunt for a new loafer/pump. My hopes were to find something a bit more streamlined than the Gucci Marmont but equally comfortable. At first glance, the Gucci Zumi didn’t win me over. They looked a little clunky on display. But once I tried them on, my mind changed. The slim and slightly elongated toe box combined with polished silver and goldtone hardware add a note of refinement. Best of all, they’re as comfortable as the Marmont. They’re quite chic in ivory too.

They are lovely, Karima! It was noted they run small and to order 1/2 size up. Did you find that to be the case?

Actually no. I took my normal size.

Particularly love seeing them on you. I like the fact that the logo is more subdued than on the Marmont. My suede Marmonts are one of my favorite pairs of shoes I have in my closet, but my husband cringes when I wear them because of the big G’s.

Please tell us about that coat! It looks so cozy.

I agree. The logo on the hardware is a little more subdued. If I could remove the giant GG on the Marmont I would. The horsebit hardware would be so much better.

The Zumi looks great. I already have black and ivory Gucci horsebit loafers. Do these come in any other colors?

They look wonderful on you! So stylish! Question/quandary: would you wear with the Gucci horse it bag (earlier post), or too many logos???? Thanks for your opinion

My initial reaction is to say no, but since the logo and hardware is different it could possibly work. I’d have to test it.

These are beautiful. Do you find the heel height to be too high for daily running around? I wear loafers with jeans or chinos for during the day…..and I agee with your readers – the big GG logo is too much for my taste!

Yes, it is a comfortable heel height.
