I’m getting ahead of the holiday season and sorting through new decor early. I like to add a few pieces to my collection but waited too long last year and many of my favorites were sold out. With the Thanksgiving weekend kicking off the first of December, I imagine the same is likely to happen. Things I’m eyeing include soft metallics – particularly in the form of garland to add a warm glow to the mantle or tree. Garland is one of my favorite items to decorate with because it’s so easy to put up and take down. A few textured ornaments in faded unique colors are also in my cart. The collection by Leanne Ford for Crate&Barrel is gorgeous. I need to replenish ribbon and love the colors and look of antique frayed velvet.
